I'm not trying to start a war and appreciate the educated discussion. What's your theory on the NA vs. TT wrist pin debate? Do you feel that we didn't know enough about wrist pin strength in the 80's? Did Nissan not know that the NA wrist pins were strong enough to support a boosted application (or that boost didn't matter)? Similarly to the head design differences? Nistune- I was arguing that it makes more sense to spend $1500 more to increase the safety margin than to carefully and laboriously tune "near the danger zone". Our time is all worth different amounts so of course this will vary depending on income level. Just fyi, I wouldn't boost my bottom end mostly because it has 168,000 miles. The cylinder bores are certainly out of round a good deal and an overbore will be needed soon (I've inspected them). I'd rather just rebuild the bottom end with forged pistons to be safe if I have to hone, etc. anyway. Thanks again
